Connectors

Single connectors may be installed on the end of a cable or on the rear of the probe. A PT Dual Option requires the use of two cables and two connectors. A TH Dual Option requires one connector, on probe or on cable. If a connector and mating connector are specified, the one designated first in the probe part number will be installed and the second will be supplied loose. All mating connectors are in-line cable style and include hardware.

A threaded brass cap and a 1/8NPT by 7/8 inch long stainless steel bayonet adaptor are installed on the option B armor to spring-load the probe. Specify AF and B .

Specify C1/8 , C1/4 or C1/2 . C1/2 is available only for the 1/4 inch sheath. Fitting is not available for the 7/32 inch sheath.

A flexible 304 stainless steel armor, .20 inch nominal OD, is installed over a portion of the probe cable. Specify Bxx , with xx indicating the armor length in inches.

A single bend, to 90° maximum, is placed in a probe. Specify BLxx,Y , with xx indicating the distance from the probe tip to the bend centerline and Y indicating the bend angle relative to the probe's centerline.

A specified portion of the overall probe length is reduced to 3/16 or 1/8 inch diameter. Specify D1/8 or D3/16-xx, with xx indicating the length of reduced diameter.

Two electrically isolated sensors in a 1/4 inch diameter probe.

Use to specify two 4 conductor cables in place of a single 8 conductor cable with the DU platinum sensor option. Place this designation at the end of the part number.

Hermetically sealed for moisture protection of the sensor.

A serial number- the date code plus additional digits- is etched into the probe body.

Grooves are machined into the tip end of a probe sheath to improve thermal response.

A stainless steel spring is installed to protect the cable exit.

A PVC heat-shrunk tubing over standard armor is used to provide protection in a damp
area. Specify SAxx , with xx indicating the length of the armor.

Etched to customer specification. Specify SST and data to be etched.

The sensor is imbedded in a copper-alloy tip which is soldered into the end of a sheath.
A platinum film or thermistor sensor is recommended. 200°C maximum temperature.

Special internal construction to improve the probe's resistance to vibration and shock.

Removal of one lead for use with three wire input devices.
